ジミー・ウェブ、ヨーロッパツアーで早くも成果

Jimmy Webb is back in Europe and already ticking away at world-famous hard problems. He started off in Switzerland with a few 8B/V13's: Boogalagga and Collateral at Chironico, and Santoku at Ticino. Jimmy also managed a quick ascent of Dave Graham's From the Dirt Grows the Flowers with the left exit.

V15's for Webb and Nakajima in Switzerland (DPM)

he's added Chironico's Big Paw to the list. Big Paw is the sit start to Boogalagga (V13) which he sent last week. The full line, from the sit, was first climbed by Dave Graham in 2008 who suggested a difficulty of V15.

ヨーロッパツアーに出たばかりの、アメリカのジミー・ウェブ(Jimmy Webb) ですが、早速幾つかの成果をあげています。

まず、スイスのキロニコで Boogalagga(V13)、Collateral(V13)、From the Dirt Grows the Flowers(V14/15)、ティチーノで Santoku(V13) を落とします。

From the Dirt Grows～は初登したデイブ・グラハムの直上バージョンと左抜けバージョンがあります。今回、ジミーは左抜けで登っていますが、直上バージョンにもトライしているようです。

そして、その後、Boogalagga の SDバージョンである Big Paw(V15)、小山田大さんが初登した Insanity of Grandeur(V15) を登りました。ジミーは、今回 3本の V15 を登っていますが、いずれも V14 に感じているようです。

ジミーはこの後、5月 20日までヨーロッパに滞在予定だそうで、今後の成果が楽しみです。
